We're hanging out in a room, watching lots of cartoons and putting together some lego cars. We were scheduled for noon, but Dr. Mendeloff is still in the OR with an infant. So, a couple more hours of waiting. It's a little frustrating, but it's okay. It's all God's perfect timing.
Just hoping that Jackson doesn't start to realize how hungry he is. We did let him stay up until after 10pm last night - eating as many snacks as he wanted : )
It's 12:30 now, and we're hoping that by 2:00 he will be drinking the silly juice and heading to surgery.
He's calm and content. Asking some questions again about not feeling anything or hearing anything during the surgery, and still not quite understanding that he won't wake up until it is all over. Or maybe he just likes the reassurance that he won't remember anything - there isn't anything to be scared of.
I'll post more in a couple of hours.
