It was a beautiful Easter and we finished the day with a yummy meal at my mom's house!

Crawfish Boil and Easter Egg Hunt

 

We had a crawfish boil over Easter weekend, and an egg hunt for the kids. 

So fun to spend the day with the Terhaars and Moxleys. 

 

 

 

 

Jackson is Nine!

Jackson turned nine on March 11.

His new hiking backpack and walking stick.

Also got a new bike (therefore Cooper got a "new" one and so did Charlie...ha)

We celebrated with a cookie cake after we went to see Zootopia

 

Then the following week, we had a swim party for Jackson along with his friend, Ryan.

 

A lot of the third grade boys were able to make it, they all had a good time!

Spring Break

 We spent 3 nights over Spring Break at a lake house in Crockett, Texas - about 3 hours away.  It was a great getaway and we had a wonderful time!

They fished every day, off and on, all day.

We did not catch one fish!

The kids were such good sports, though, and they never gave up!

The weather was perfect!

 

It was such a great set up, because Ellie still needs a morning nap and afternoon nap.   I could put her to bed, and walk down to the water with the baby monitor.   We didn't have to postpone anything while she slept.  So great to spend this time with the kids.

We had such a great trip! 

We told the kids that they are going to have a little brother or sister in October.

So thankful for our family. 

Came back to Allen for the rest of the week...

it rained and rained and rained.
