My guys

I just had to post this picture I took on Sunday before we left for church. They were all three so cute in their button up shirts. Cooper is wearing a size 12 mo and the buttons are about to pop off.

Trucks

Just a few pictures of the boys this week. Its getting to be so much fun to watch them interact - especially as Cooper is able to sit up. They were sharing the trucks - I'm still waiting for Jackson to start getting possessive over "his" toys, but so far he is happy to share with Cooper. Both boys are doing great!

Silly Boys!

Jackson had a case of the giggles as Colin ran around with him in the den.
Notice how Cooper keeps his eyes on Jackson the entire time!

After dinner I was washing the dishes, and had to run get the camera
to catch this. Cooper has discovered empty water bottles and both boys
kept laughing and laughing. It's so fun to see them interact and respond to
each other.

SPRING!!

Today we went for a nice walk to the park in our neighborhood. I decided to go for Round 2 at putting Cooper in his stroller without his carseat. If you read the blog a couple of months ago, you will remember Round 1 was a disaster. But, here he is smiling, and excited for the ride!

Jackson is more interested in eating pretzels than smiling at the camera

And 3 or 4 minutes into the ride, I stopped to check on Cooper-

So, we made it to the park and Coop slept in the stroller while Jackson I played

Birthday Extravaganza

Well, Jackson is TWO! I cannot believe it! We had a wonderful birthday week - celebrating every day - and opening plenty of gifts!

Here's the invite: (sorry the picture is a little blurry - the colors were cuter)

I made him a birthday shirt - (another blurry picture)

And I made his cake - I made the decorations our of fondant - little cars and trucks to match his invite. It turned out pretty yummy - I know why bakeries charge so much, it took a LONG time. A long, long time. But worth it!

Brownies in a dump truck :

Birthday boy!

The kids decorated sugar cookies -

Jackson went a little crazy with the sprinkles

SUGAR!!!!

Opening Presents

One of Jackson's favorite presents was from Pawpaw Kevin - just like daddy's

Cutting the cake -
Cora giving Jackson a ride around the house
Rebekah, Henry, and Cooper
Henry was LOVING Elmo

Here's our HAPPY baby (Yes, you read that right - HAPPY!)

Posing for a picture on the couch was actually fairly successful. It's not the best picture of any of them - but at least they aren't crying

Henry trying out a juice box - he mastered the straw in a matter of seconds
After the party, we got Jackson in his pjs, and off to bed! We all had a nice adult dinner - and enjoyed a little wine.
I didn't get a picture of my mom with the boys - she has a gift of avoiding the camera : ) It was a great week - and it's nice to be done with all the sickness! Both boys are well - or close to it. Wish our parents could live here. Not only was it nice to have some help - it was so much fun to have them here. It's so wonderful to watch the boys with them. They have the best grandparents. We love you!

Backyard

We're more than ready for our grass to turn green and flowers to start blooming. The weather has been nice the past couple of days and weve enjoyed being outside. We had a little visitor wander into the yard in a couple of days ago and Jackson LOVED it. It would be nice to have a pet if it didn't need to eat or poop. One day ...
Cooper seems to be turning a corner! YAY! He is happy for most of the day, now. WOW! What a difference it makes on everything. I'm so glad he is feeling better - and spitting up so much less. Just a few times a day instead of a few times every hour. I haven't changed a thing, so I guess his system is just maturing. YIPPEE! In the last couple of days he has fallen asleep while I am holding him and I just laid him in the chair.

Jackson is so thrilled to be playing outside. If I mention the word "O-U-T" he jumps up and grabs his shoes. Once he is outside he just runs and runs ... giggling the whole time.

I put a hat on Cooper so he wouldn't have the sun in his eyes, and then got caught up playing with Jackson. I turned around to find him like this.... he was very confused.
