Eleanor's Baptism

Eleanor was baptized last Saturday, August 22nd!
We invited family and lots of friends to celebrate with us.

Deacon Dominic, who has five children himself, said he hoped to see us bac in a year with number 6 so we could beat him. HAHAHA.

He then joke with us  ... saying we were going straight to heaven since we had five.  I'd like to believe the latter for sure!  : )

Getting ready for church today (a week later), Maggie asked if we could have another baptism there.

Had a great time celebrating at our house.

So thankful for this little angel (and her brothers and sister too, of course).  I am so grateful for each of them, and all the memories we make in celebrating these special moments ... especially receiving their sacraments.

August ....

A few pictures, just hanging around the house....

On the 17th, the boys started school!

They insisted that I get whiskers in the pictures since he was "photo-bombing" their picture.

Maggie doesn't start her preschool until next week ... but she still wanted to be part of the picture.

She wore her backpack to drop them off, too : )

3rd Grade!!!!

1st Grade!!!!

 and Kindergarten!!!

We first dropped off Jackson.   His teacher is Mrs. Ehnis

Cooper was next ... with Mrs. Hazzard

And finally, Charlie man.... with Mrs. B

It's so peaceful here during the days.  Maggie talks ALOT and wants me to play with her ALOT.   Bu there is no arguing!!!  Not until Eleanor learns to talk I guess : )

Afternoons are a little crazy with homework, and soon to be soccer practice, etc.

Looking forward to another year!

Eleanor - 3 months old

Sweet girl.  Three months old is SO MUCH EASIER than newborn!
She is getting bigger, smiling a lot, and interacting with her brothers and sister.

Pictures are finally a little easier since she can kinda be propped up without immediately falling over.

She loves sucking on that bottom lip.

She sometimes sleeps through the night!  Usually goes to sleep at 8:30pm... sometimes wakes up in the middle of the night (and is up for over an hour after she nurses - smiling and pooping and being adorable and exhausting) but will sometimes sleep until 4:30 or 5:30am.   Not sure what makes the difference...  but I am grateful for the occasional treat of a decent night's sleep.
