Bouncy Seat Love

Took these pictures a week or two ago ... our sweet little girl loves her bouncy seat.
She watches the little frog move, and kicks her legs to make it keep playing music.   It's broken and the vibrator sounds like an engine that is about to take off, but she is happy, so we are happy!

Two month post coming up one day ... hopefully...

Visit from the Speckmans

We recently had a visit from some dear friends - Amanda & Tyler, and their little boy, Peyton.
They spent the weekend with us, and we had such a great time.

Played us some tunes

Took a bubble bath.

After the bath, the big boys had a "sleepover."
It took a little while to go to sleep, but eventually they did.

Watching a little TV the next morning.

Peyton gave Jackson the first two books of the Magic Treehouse series for his birthday.
He LOVES them.  They are a little over Cooper's head (not enough pictures),  but Jackson can't wait to get more!

The next morning, everyone except myself, Maggie, and Charlie went to a Rangers game.

The boys ate a little bit of everything.
Jackson is having peanuts, and Cooper is eating cotton candy under his hat.
They were giving hats away that day (and the boys want to wear them EVERY day now).

That night we scratched cooking dinner, and went out to eat instead.  Enjoyed some Mexican food, an art walk, and some ice cream.

I am not sure why, but everytime that Tyler picked Charlie up, he went to sleep (or tried to put himself to sleep, that is).  Maybe fear? or who knows.
But it made us laugh.

The boys climbed all over Tyler while we waited for our table.

A little dance party to wrap up the night.

So much fun, can't wait to see them again!

Puzzle Time

These boys love puzzles ... and I am thankful for the quiet time!

Recently ...

We've been hanging around the house alot lately.   Four kids + one mom + outings = trouble.  So, we go to preschool and speech, or a friend's house... but until Colin gets home I find it safest to stay at home with them.     We've been doing lots and lots of crafts, playdoh, playing in the yard, and just hanging out.  I know we will be out exploring again one day.
All of these pictures were taken on preschool days ... so Jackson didn't make it into any of them : )

Jackson and Cooper are always eager to hold Maggie.
Maggie has some good big brothers.
Yesterday Jackson asked to hold her.  After a minute or two
his eyes got huge and he asked, "What was THAT NOISE?"
haha.  I laughed and told him that she was pooping.   He asked very firmly, "Can you PLEASE take her?" and I responded - "why don't we let her finish and then I will change her."
He disagreed.   He did NOT want to be holding her while that was going on : )

 Cooper is so silly.
We've been doing LOTS of crafts at the kitchen table.
He loves the googly eyes.

 Charlie is obsessed with shoes.
He could entertain himself all day with shoes and puzzles.

I have to really watch him around Maggie.
He wants to help her,
but is a little forceful in his actions.
I walked out of the room the other day, and when I walked back in he had covered her up with a blanket and put several burp cloths on her head.
He also likes to pet her head like a dog.

Sweet girl.  She's spending much more time "happy" and awake now.   Looking around.
I've gotten some heart melting smiles from her too!

The boys helped make banana bread on Thursday - after we dropped off Jackson at school - and Maggie was asleep.

 The banana masher.
He took his job pretty seriously.

Cooper helped measure and pour all of the ingredients.

Maggie was kind enough to stay asleep until we got the bread in the oven.

 Adoration.

 In her crib.
She's confused .. wondering where she is... since she never sleeps here : )
I put her down on her back there the other day and she spit up like crazy and woke up to burp over and over.
I think I'll just stick to her bouncy seat.

Here she is in her other bouncy seat - not the one she sleeps in.  She actually likes the music and it keeps her happy.   She is in it now, sitting next to me, while I type this up.

Sweet cheeks.   I can't believe this baby is getting so big.

 Ha.
