Saturday

Last Saturday Jackson got to go to a classmate's bowling party. Cason is one of 4-5 kids in Jack's class with a March birthday. They've been celebrating ALOT recently. I wasn't sure how bowling would work out, but, boy, did he have a blast. From the second we walked in, he ran right up the lanes and asked for a turn. They had these nifty ramp things where the kids could just push the ball down.

I have to say, he's a natural. He even got a strike once, and most of the time he knocked all the pins down. And, yes, there were bumper pads and a ramp that is aimed straight to the center of the pins, but, still, I think he's got talent.
Wouldn't he be cute with a little bowling jersey with his name embroidered on it?

LOVES his new bowling pin cup.

I love this picture so much because of Kent's pose in the background. Every time he knocked down a pin he screamed, "TOUCH DOWN!"
Very funny.
I laughed out loud every time.

Adrienne and Julia rode with us -
it was really wonderful being out with just one kid each!
I didn't have to worry about Cooper running down the lane or dropping a ball on his feet. And I didn't have to nurse Charlie on a stool : )
Anyway, this picture made me smile. We didn't pose them.
They are sweet friends.

Jackson and I got home in the middle of naptime. Once Charlie and Cooper woke up, which wasn't long after our return, we decided to head down to Dallas and go to Northpark Mall. It's funny how it can take 30 minutes just to pack up all the stuff and get them dressed - even just to make a trip to the mall.
We had such a good time together.
We spent most of our time walking from one end of the mall to another, making potty stops, and feeding everyone. But that's normal. In between the necessary pit stops, Colin was able to try on some shoes for his birthday, I tried on a bazillion dresses at Anthropologie (heaven!) and picked three I liked. Now they just need to go on sale.

Here are the boys waiting patiently on the couch while I tried on clothes. Charlie was in the stroller. This didn't last very long, and soon they were crawling in and out under the door to my dressing room.

Next, got to check out the ducks and turtles.

I can't remember which boy it was, but one of them chucked a penny in to make a wish and hit a turtle right in the head.

Watched a little tv at the Disney store.
Fun Day. Long Day. But, fun.
