I READY!

I was scrambling to get jackson ready for school last week, and trying to find a "silly hat" for you guessed it, "silly hat day" at school ... when cooper disappeared into the laundry room.
Minutes later, he came out announcing "I READY!" with his too-small boots on, one sleeve up, one sleeve down, sideways hat ... looking great. And boy, was he proud.
I let him wear whatever he wants these days. Actually, he doesn't usually have an opinion on the clothes so much - but the accessories are important. He almost never wears matching socks anymore. No matter what shoes I pick out, he wants a different pair - and he has alot... Tennis shoes, brown shoes (church shoes), crocs, boots (2 pair - the ones he is sporting in the picture are too small, and the other adorable pair have hot air balloons on them - thank you rebekah and kristen - are his favorite, and still a little big). But if I say, okay, Cooper, get your boots on, he screams, "NO! TENNIS SHOES!" or "OTHER BOOTS!" so, whatever. He likes his lsu hat alot (thank you emily). LOVES his sunglasses.
He's a riot. Says really silly things all day long and keeps me laughing. He's also finally decided that he likes me as much as his daddy. : )
I'm so thankful that after many months of Jackson being in school - we're now at a point where I do see more one-on-one time with him like I had planned on when Jackson started. Until recently, Charlie took up so much time- and naps were unpredictable. Now, Charlie takes 2 naps a day, every day. whew. What a relief. So, during that morning nap, it's just me and Coop. And he is soaking it all up just as much as I am.
This is a wordy post. I could go on forever.
Summary - Cooper's funny. He makes me laugh all day. He has strong opinions on everything. I love him.
