Arboretum

The four (well, technically five) of us went to the arboretum on Saturday. We had the boys' pictures taken in the morning when we first arrived. Our photographer, Vanessa, is great! She first took pictures of Jackson in May 2008. Look how little he was (sniff, sniff).

And, then she took pictures of us when Cooper was about 2 months old (December 2008).

Look at that old man face. And he sure doesn't look like he is enjoying my kiss.


Jackson was 19 months old when Cooper was born,
and Cooper will be 19 months old when baby boy #3 arrives.

I remember feeling like Jackson turned into a big boy overnight when we brought Cooper home. He no longer seemed like a baby to me, but so grownup!

Jackson is always commenting on how big my belly is, and how it's almost mommy's birthday party, and then after that the baby will come live with us. ( I tried The other day while we were eating dinner, he had a look of alarm on his face, and said, "We HAVE to get another chair! The baby needs a place to sit!"
Of course, I don't think Cooper has a clue about what's going to change in June, but he is already used to "sharing" our attention, so we will see.

Back to the arboretum...

I haven't gotten our pictures from Vanessa yet, but I did want to post a couple that we took after we finished our session. The boys love it there.
