Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!
A few days ago, our Christmas present from my mom arrived in the mail - a canon rebel t1i. I have wanted to play around with it before we wrap it up and put it under the tree, but haven't had a moment. I did figure out how to turn it on, and click the button to take a picture. That's about it. So, fast forward for this morning. We woke up to snow! What a surprise! It sure put a smile on all of our faces. The boys ran to the window and were so excited. I quickly grabbed our new camera, and snapped alot of pictures of the two of them with their faces pushed up against the glass. I was so proud that I was actually documenting Cooper's first snow. Well, I tried to upload them later to the computer, when I realized there was no memory card in the camera. AWESOME! So, no proof that it snowed from me. By that point it had melted away. I'm hoping we get some more on Friday, and I can just maybe pretend that is the first snow Cooper ever saw!

Cooper LOVES the Christmas Bear. The bear gets more kisses than I do!
Here's Jackson when I told him that we could finger paint after dinner. I've been trying to take some time with him, one-on-one, after Colin gets home from work. We don't get any time with just us now that Cooper dropped his morning nap. Jackson LOVES to do "projects," so we have been drawing letters, painting, stamping, etc. when we get a chance. It prooves to be very challenging when Cooper is around since he very badly wants to participate. But keeping him from eating the paint or tearing the coloring books is more than I can handle. So, I am really going to make an effort to make this time with Jackson every day.

Your pictures are awesome. I have the same camera and love it. I hope to learn how to REALLY use it. Enjoy!
