On May 9th, Jackson received his First Holy Communion.
It was my goal to not have the baby before this day - and hooray! I made it!
Jackson's godmother, Jessica, came in town with her two kids Sam and Stella.
It was so wonderful to have them here.
We tried to get a picture of all the kids.
Charlie was throwing a fit.
Wouldn't get in the picture.
I think my exact words to him were, "I don't have time to be nice about it ... get in the picture"
It didn't work.
ha.

I was so emotional about the whole thing.
He told me yesterday after Mass, "mom, I received my fourth communion today!"
The rest of the crew headed home to get lunch set up.
We had a simple lunch of hamburgers, potato salad, cookies..
Oh! Cole Slaw. Jackson's request. It's his favorite food.

Jackson's teacher came too - he was so excited!
And his teacher from first grade also came - she lives in our neighborhood.
He is still talking about it!
And Cooper is already asking if his teachers can come for his First Communion : )
He opened some gifts ..
The Moxleys and the Louis' came too.
So great to celebrate with them.
I ended up having Eleanor about 48 hours later : )
