The Louis' came to visit on their way from Birmingham to Dallas.
So nice to have them stay and hang out.
They weren't able to make it to Charlie's party the day before due to a furniture emergency : )
There's just nothing like seeing friends you've known for so long.
The kids are all getting so big!
I have plenty of pictures of the kids, not many of the grownups : )
But we had a great time ... one of the best moments was sniffing out men's bodywash in target. That was me and Rebekah - not Colin and Tom : )
Rocket Ship park to get the sillies out.
Honeysuckle tasting
A few days later, on Independence Day, we left for Lousiana.
Stopped in Shreveport for lunch with the Speckmans.
Amanda trying to keep Maggie's finger out of her nose (Maggie's favorite way to show off)
So great to them and my godson, Peyton.
Arrived in Alexandria, and the kids were soooo excited!
I did a terrible job taking pictures.
Actually brought my camera to the zoo...
These boys love maps.
We had been there for about 8 minutes.
Cooper said he wanted to go home.
Colin picked him up, and his face went pale.
Then he threw up all over the back of Colin and in front of the tortoises : (
So, I drove home with Colin and Cooper,
Colin changed and went back.
Cooper rested and, thankfully, that was the end of the stomach bug ...
besides a fever for a couple of days.
Maggie loved the little riding horse. Great long hallway to ride it up and down : )
Cooper and Jackson stayed, and Colin and I took Maggie and Charlie back to Allen.
The older boys stayed until the next week - and had an absolute blast at "Camp Delaney"
They came home with crafts, t-shirts, hats, and a journal with all their adventures.
