June 5th - Charlie turned 5!!!
I have to admit ... I don't remember much since we were very much in foggy newborn world.
We got him a cookie cake on his birthday and celebrated with a small party sometime after that... can't quite remember when...
One of his favorite gifts! This boy loves to pretend ... he and Maggie have that in common. They both like to make up all the rules, too, so they almost always argue when they play.
Rebekah took pictures for me at his party. We had it early... and it was a "PJ party."
I didn't make anything!!!
I used some decorations from past parties, got donuts from Krispy Kreme, chicken biscuits from Chickfila, and homemade granola (thank you Rebekah!)

Oh I did make these.... Chocolate chip cookies for favors.
We had a bounce house.
It was REALLY hot that morning.
Fruit Loop necklaces were a hit!
And also the only "activity" for the party.

Can't believe he is starting Kindergarten this year. He seems so young to be at school everyday!!
He's reading really well, and a very curious kid.
He has become very interested in the states and capitals this summer.
He often asks me questions I don't know the answer to...
He loves to do workbooks!
Learned to swim this summer but still a little unsure.
Graduated from his bifocals!
Now wearing glasses for near sightedness : )
Likes to play board games
Likes to be hugged
Sweet as can be.
Has a serious temper. Can be super happy and then loses it.
A perfectionist.
A really great big brother.
Smart as a whip, but still always onfused about what meal we are eating,... "Is this breakfast or lunch?"
