Sometime before Halloween, the second grade performed, "The Spunky Pumpkin."
Jackson was a pumpkin : ) Cooper was there with his class, but Charlie and Maggie came with me to watch their brother.
Charlie with his friend, Victoria.
Oh, these two.
On Halloween, the little kids got to dress up and be part of a "parade" around the big school. Charlie was the octopus ... I think this is the third year in a row someone has worn this.
Cooper was a shark. Also the 3rd year in a row for someone to be wearing this ....
After the parade ... the boys had their Halloween parties in their classrooms.
That night, we went trick-or-treating.
Maggie was Strawberry Shortcake (dress was given to her by Adrienne .... she LOVES it!)
Mawmaw and Pawpaw were in town. They stuck in out and walked with them the whole time. I Was feeling really lousy (the joy of the first trimester)
These monkeys.
The next day, we had Cooper's birthday party at Metroplex gymnastics.
He wanted a "Jeep" party, but I just couldn't muster the time or energy to throw one at the house.
But was able to make a cake and cookies for favors.
Six years old!!!!
So, Cooper is six. He is a funny kid. A really good dancer ... the kid has some pretty nice moves. He forgets what he is doing a lot, or somehow loses his lunchbox between the kitchen and the van. He is almost always in a good mood, and even his "bad" mood is so mild. He's even tempered, and loves to laugh. He doesn't like to get in trouble, or cause frustration.... that's usually when he gets the most upset. He's really good at drawing and has an incredible imagination. He always keeps us laughing. Can't believe he is already halfway done with kindergarten. He's learning to read really well, and it writing a lot too. Love him so much.
