I don't want to give up on this blog because I want to remember all of these moments. Poor Maggie. I was posting sometimes many times a week with the boys. And #4 came along, and Wham. Stopped it in the tracks.
Going to keep going and try to "catch up" or at least do what I can.
Everyday with their sticky hands, silly laughs, and crying "he hit me!" and shouting "Maggie's Poopy!!!" I don't want to forget any of it. As much as it can break me down, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
Except maybe getting a pedicure. Just for an hour or so! :)
So, Easter.
We dyed eggs the day before -
(We wouldn't allow Maggie to drink the egg dye)
Seems like it's always rainy here on Easter. We woke up to the boys making a ruckus upstairs. When I went up there, I found them all happily playing in the room. I asked if they were ready to go downstairs and see their Easter baskets. Jackson calmly said, "Oh, we already looked at them and then came back upstairs."
So, that was that. They had peeked but hadn't looked through anything (smart boys).
Love Maggie's sleepy eyes in this picture.
Normally her duck doesn't get to come on car rides : ) but we let her take it that day.
She nearly fell asleep on the short drive to church brushing it's teeth with her new toothbrush, all the while wearing her new shades.
I'm kinda thrilled with this picture.
ALL of my children are looking at the camera. All are smiling!!!
Maggie and mommy. And duckie.
I have some pretty incredible men in my life.
All done with mass.
About to hunt
I just got a kick out of how each boy was playing with his...
Charlie made a pattern with his.
Cooper made a treasure hunt and had to follow the trail of discs to the treasure.
Jackson filled up an Easter egg with the discs and experimented with it sticking to the wand.
And one more picture from Easter.
Maggie playing us a lovely tune on the piano.
