Maggie turned two in April.
It's now almost June.
I spent about an hour working on this post just to discover today that none of it saved.
So, I am re-uploading the photos.
Re-writing the words.
Feeling sorry for myself : )
All worth it, so we can look back at this blog later in life and remember how sweet and cute and funny little Maggie was at TWO.
Actual birthday ...
Guess her dress got dirty?
She usually starts out in clothes, and then quickly ends up in a diaper.
With a bow : )
She likes to pretend to sleep.
Even makes snoring noises.
And peeks occasionally.
She is the happiest kid.
Sings to herself ALOT.
Loves to read.
Loves to sing.
Claps in excitement about ALOT of things.
Favorite sentence is "I's a princess"
Always dressed up, accessorizing, or collecting random stuff in buckets, purses, bags..,,
Made lots and lots of cookies...
Decorated ...
Made lots and lots of tissue paper flowers.
Count the (jelly) beans contest.
Served Margaritas... was a Fiesta after all.
Colin mixed 'em up, and oooooo-eeeee, they were strong.
So tasty!
The drink ponchos make me smile.
Made little food labels and signs with shredded tissue.
Favors were kind of a bust. I bought little buckets at the dollar store and failed to ever get anything to put in them. The night before I got some punch balloons. So, the kids took home a bucket, balloon, and left over cookies : )
Lots of time cutting tissue paper...
very therapeutic : )
mini sombreros ...Such a hit
She woke up from her nap right as people were arriving.
She was a little shy for a while.
Oreo balls. Oh my goodness. So yummy.
Taco bar for dinner.
Chicken, beef and carnitas.
Rice, beans, and of course, pickled onions.
Colin made all the REAL food, and I stuck to the sugar : )
We made suncatchers ...
and maracas
Carmen, you'll probably kill me for posting this. But I couldn't help myself.
You look too adorable. Sweet baby Julia is now here!!!
Found the chocolate : )
Morgan brought over Maggie's present in a Hannah Montana bag. Nice.
Heather got to hold Colton for most of the party.
Ended the party with the piƱata.
Which actually broke before I even handed out bags to the kids.
Then I had to get all school-teacher mean and fuss at the kids to only take a certain amount of candy because lots of kids were crying ...
I must have sounded like a monster, but everyone listened and shared the candy. ha.
So much fun having so many wonderful friends over to celebrate Maggie Moo.
Good food, good friends, lots of good memories.
Fun after party too! : )
So very thankful for the joyful little girl she is.
She is pretty opinionated,
but she OOOOZES happiness.
I'm so happy that she will dance with me.
Loving every second of her!
