Visit with the Blanchers and Louis'

Back in April, we had a college reunion of sorts - with the Louis' and Blanchers.   We had such a great time -hanging out at the house, cooking together, and spent Saturday at the Arboretum.  We have 9 kiddos between us.   The three of us girls got to sneak away with some kids for shopping on Saturday (hooray!)

because he was force-feeding her mulch when I happened upon them, 

and she was loving every second of it.

After the Blanchers arrived, we finished up dinner, and ate out on the deck.  Kids loved having a "kids' table" and the grownups enjoyed catching up.

My exposure was all off, but I love seeing all the kids hanging out together.  They all got along great. 

As you can see, Maggie's birthday decorations were still up  : )

Saturday morning we headed out to the arboretum.   The weather was beautiful.   The weatherman had threatened our weekend with thunderstorms - but there were none!  And it was perfect.

Charlie was really i interested in this little bird. 

I must have taken 30 pictures of the kids together.   I loved their expressions in these.

What a fun, fun weekend.  I went to a Chi Omega convention with these two girlies a long time ago - maybe 13 years ago?? It is so fun to laugh with friends - we've been friends before we even started dating our husbands.   I'm feeling old now.

Hope this becomes an annual tradition.
