Thanksgiving Travels Part I.

I'm way behind on posting.   Plenty of excuses.   But, here we go...let's take a trip down memory lane to Thanksgiving.    We stopped in Shreveport to visit the Speckmans.    The kids did AWESOME on the way over.   They picked up lunch for us and we let the boys play.
They were so happy to see Peyton.

We played pass the baby.

 Charlie is CONSTANTLY hugging Maggie.

 Cooper needs a pet.
Not that I am going to get him one, but ... he needs one.
And no, Mawmaw and Pawpaw ... don't get any ideas.

How sweet is Duncan.
: ) Maggie got some kisses.

These two were ridiculous on the gator.

Charlie stayed in the playhouse for most of the time.
He is not interested in the whole dog scene at all.

Such a nice little stopping point on our trip.
Stopped by my favorite fabric store, and former place of employment, Milling Around.

Made it to Alexandria that evening.
Cooper and Colin spent a couple of hours at an e-care place...
Cooper developed pink eye on the ride over.

Next day - Ali had tons of art projects for the boys.
They were in heaven.

 Charlie preferred the kitchen.

We decided to enjoy lunch and feed Maggie and Charlie first, and then put them down for naps.
Best. Decision. Ever.
We got to really enjoy our meal.

Impersonation of a turkey.

After we ate, the boys spent some time in the backyard.
Since we don't have any trees (at least none sizeable enough to speak of ...),
they decided to play a rousing game of "Kick the Tree"

Also got a visit from Uncle Red.   It was great to see him.
Man, he looks good.

More to come in another post.
