Mom's Group Halloween Party

 Friday night was our mom's group Halloween party.   We had a great time.   I got the boys costumes made that day.   I was determined to reuse the hoodies, so I just saftety pinned everything on.  
Jackson originally said that he would like to be a shark.   And Cooper wanted to be an octopus (of course). 
So, I thought we should just continue with the "sea creatures" theme and make charlie a crab, because, well, he can be...
Maggie should have probably been a seahorse or a mermaid or something very girly and cute.   However, when I was putting out our Halloween decorations I came across the costume bin and we had a turtle costume.   Don't know where it came from ...  So, naturally, she was the turtle. I pinned a ribbon to her head to make it more feminine ; )

 

 The lighting in a gymnasium at night is NOT good.  

But we were still able to capture a few cute moments...

Charlie was a lunatic all  night.   Really, really silly.   He looked so funny running around with those crab legs bouncing all over the place.

 

 We love green!

Maggie seemed unsure most of the night... which is unusual for her.

Once I took her hood off, she was instant smiles and laughing. 

 Decorated cookies.  And ate them even faster.

Charlie was too busy laughing and jumping around to participate.

 Maggie just rolled around on the ground. 

Trunk or Treat.

 Oh yeah, that's Maggie in the trunk.

She loved it.   Got to play with an old water bottle and a roll of tape. 

Happiest baby ever. 

This trunk put all of the other ones to shame.  

Ha.

Had a great time.  

Looking forward to trick or treating, 

and then maybe some "down" time for a while.

I'm tired : )
