Last week, Colin's coworkers put together a lunch time shower for Maggie.
The boys were there to celebrate, too.
They transformed the physics hallway with Pink.
Pink, pink, and more pink!
I'm still trying to get used to the color!
Jackson helped me open all the presents.
Cooper and Charlie came out of Colin's office (they were coloring) for Cake Pops!
Played a rousing game of "Where's your belly button?"
I have to be careful playing this with Charlie when we are in public because he INSISTS on lifting up my shirt to see mine.
It's a tiny bit embarrassing.
Better now than after the baby, though!
The serious artist.
Sweet Cooper
Silly brothers
Focused on a word search.
Sometimes they can't be more alike.
Other times they are completely different.
I'm so thankful for all the sweet gifts.
It seems like we won't need to buy clothes for the first year!
Really starting to get excited about meeting Maggie.
This pregnancy hasn't really felt real this time around.
I mean, the nausea in the fist trimester and the dicomfort this last trimester has been real.
But, I just can't believe we are really about to have a baby.
The last couple of months have been the craziest in our lives.
We're really looking forward to moving forward!
So glad that we're all healthy. In a new home. So many blessings.
Now it's really starting to sink in that in no time at all we will be up all night, nursing, changing, burping ...
I am scheduled to be induced two weeks from today - Wednesday, the 28th. I'm not really due until that Saturday, the 31st. We will see what happens. I would rather not be induced, and in a perfect world just start labor at home, you know, while I miraculously have someone here to watch the boys, and can easily reach Colin at work in time to get here and take me to the hospital.
Maybe we will just go ahead with getting induced : )
I'm sure no matter what ... she will arrive whenever she is ready, and all will work out.
And then we can both be up together... you with your newborn, and I with my 5 month old who still does most of the same things at night. We're in this together, Sista! Getting to Heaven one diaper at a time.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could drop everything and come help you when Maggie is born!
