Visit the Clampitts

We spent the weekend in Austin with our college friends, the Clampitts. They moved into their house in March and we just now made a trip (kinda ridiculous). But we made it! Before Christmas and before Ms. Maggie arrives.

The kids had so much fun together.

On Saturday we took a drive to Zilker Park and rode the train.

Sam, showing off his mittens and hat.

Cooper, ready to go!

Charlie (not so sure).
Colin just fed him snacks the whole time to calm his nerves - and he loved it!

Sweet Stella. She ate alot of snacks on the ride, too!

And biggest kid, Jackson.
It's so funny to me that he is the "big" kid wherever we go. It goes by so fast!

Freezing!

After the train ride, the kids ran around on the awesome play groud.

Charlie was in heaven with the pea gravel.

Scoop it up, Pour it out, Repeat.

Love when the two littlest ones were swinging together.
Stella was loving the breeze in her face.
Charlie seemed to enjoy it, but stayed slumped over looking down the entire time.
Hilarious.

I tried to prop him up. This is as excited as he looked the whole time.

Colin pushed Cooper on the swing for a while.

And helped him do the monkey bars.

One of my favorite pictures.

When we got home, we fed the kids and got them down for naps.
Then Jessica and I made a "quick" trip to the San Marcos Outlets.
We went to two stores - Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware.
Whew, I wish I lived closer. I was slightly overwhelmed and couldn't focus.
I did find some curtains for the new house and a few other things.
Could have spent all day there.
We almost did spend the whole day in the parking lot trying to get out : )

On Sunday, all the kiddos played in their BEAUTIFUL backyard before we loaded up the van and headed home.

Love when Stella was getting INSIDE the bucket.
Charlie wanted to be part of fun.

I took about 15 pictures. This was the best : )

We had such a wonderful time, and the kids slept very well.
We actually put Charlie in the closet, and he slept in until 8:45 one day.
This kid doesn't sleep in.
Thinking of moving him to a closet here....

Thank you Jessica and David for being such wonderful hosts.
It was an overdue trip, that we will need to do again soon!
