Big Orange Pumpkin Farm

Saturday we went to the Big Orange Pumpkin Farm in Celina, Texas.
It's just about a 15 - 20 minute drive.

First thing to do - feed the animals.

Jackson was thrilled.

Cooper wasn't.

Can't believe these longhorns were eating the pumpkins. Crazy.

Next, ... to the pumpkin patch.

I had visions of the boys smiling and posing together.
This is as good as it got.

After Jackson picked out a pumpkin for everyone (he spent quite some time getting just the right one for himself, Cooper, and Charlie), we went on a hayride.

We got to see some great things, ...
like Collin County's longest goat bridge, ...
and all sorts of Halloween creatures made from hay bails
like this spider.

Next Jackson, Cooper, and Colin went for a train ride.
While we waited, the boys played on this little tractor.

Cooper wasn't so sure about the train ride at first.

But, he ended up having a lot of fun.

Jackson was in heaven.

Next, we played for a while before we had lunch.

Finally, hot dogs for lunch.

Poor Charlie didn't make it into many pictures,
since he was in the baby bjorn the whole time.
He did great.
When we got home, he was more than happy to be free and able to move around.

(Nice haircut, huh?)

We had so much fun. So glad we made it this year! The last time we went I was WAY pregnant with Cooper. I had spent the morning in the hospital with contractions, and was attempting to put myself into labor (it didn't work).
